THIRTY YEARS IN THE MAKING
I started writing The Dreamers in 1996.
Even then, I had one ultimate goal: someday, I wanted to see this story on the big screen.
Then life took me in another direction.
I put The Dreamers aside and went on to serve my country in the Air Force for twenty years. But I never truly let it go. The story stayed with me. The characters stayed with me. So did the dream.
Years later, I returned to it and transformed the story into a screenplay. That screenplay went on to become a finalist in a horror screenwriting competition.
But the journey didn’t stop there.
I wanted more people to experience the story, so I adapted the screenplay into a novel.
Now, thirty years after I first began writing it, The Dreamers is finally a published supernatural horror novel.
My ultimate dream is still the same one I had all those years ago—to get The Dreamers on the big screen.
But right now, I simply want people to discover it.
